The Caldeiras are an indie band based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The members first connected during their first year of college, where the idea for the band emerged from an idea sparked by frontman Luke and lead guitarist Xandro. A spontaneous jam session ultimately led to the development of their inaugural collective song. Since forming in March 2024, the band has focused on writing, performing and developing their sound. A big achievement was when they had played a sold-out debut gig. With such diverse influences, the band's unique sound is a blend that defies easy categorization.
